This a difficult issue for us simply because we can't read it so we don't feel comfortable testing it :(. As an experiment, we have included Russian as one of the from/to translation languages from version 1.1 onwards (to be released in August 2011). Testing the translations back and forth shows that in an UTF-8 encoding it seems to work fairly well (as good as the internet translations machines work). We know that this is an issue for some users so we do our best to improve on this topic. tbc |
