If you have "split off" a part of a subtitle file you should open the saved file and resync it manually assuming you have given it the corresponding name of a movie. While merging two files, SRS adds the second part 5 seconds the first part and renumbers everything starting the second part with 2001. Also any sync-time in the first part is cleaned and the first and the last line are given a sync-time which is the same as the start-time of that specific line. You can now safely re-sync the second part without the worry that the timing of the first part is ruined. Don't forget to enter a sync-time in the first line of the second part (the 2001 line). |
